Artistic Direction: The John G. Shedd Aquarium
Andrew is Artistic Director of Chicago's John G. Shedd Aquarium, the city's top ranked cultural institution. More than two million people attend the aquarium annually. Andrew writes, directs and produces Shedd's multi-species aquatic shows that are designed to connect people to the living world and inspire them to make a difference for the animal life on this planet.
Andrew began working at Shedd in 2007, and in addition to conceiving Shedd's first multi-species aquatic show, Fantasea, he helped reimagine and update the antiquated amphitheater into a fully functioning theater with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and projection capabilities. Other productions include, A Holiday Fantasea and One World.
