Andy served as Artistic Director of Chicago's John G. Shedd Aquarium from 2007-2017. Shedd Aquarium is Chicago's top ranked cultural institution. More than two million people attend the aquarium annually. Andrew wrote, directed and produced Shedd's multi-species aquatic shows designed to connect people to the living world and inspire them to make a difference for the animal life on this planet.
In addition to conceiving Shedd's first multi-species aquatic show, Fantasea, he helped reimagine and update the antiquated amphitheater into a fully functioning theater with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and projection capabilities. Other productions include, A Holiday Fantasea and One World.
